Sunday August 6, 2017 All Day

Crescent Day next Sunday August 6 starting at 10 AM. Crescent Day is an annual fun filled family event organized by the Crescent Thistle fleet. It starts with a greased watermelon race followed by games, hot dogs, and shoe box "sailboat" races. Please bring a dish to pass for lunch, hot dogs are provided. Attached is a flyer with all of the details.

The organizers request member help with the following

Setup crew, moving tables and cleaning grills for the event.

Watermelon regatta RC boat.

Please drop off shoe boxes and craft supplies (wood rods for masts and booms, marking pens, yarn for rigging, etc) for the shoe box race on the large table near the south entrance. If anyone has an old sail to donate for this race, please bring it. A few pairs of scissors would be helpful too.

Clean up needed in the clubhouse afterwards - the shoe box sailboat construction requires a bit of cleanup!
