The Crescent Sailing Association offers sailing lessons on beautiful Lake St. Clair in Grosse Pointe Farms, the heart of the Great Lakes and the premier sailing location in the Detroit, Michigan area.  The program director is a recipient of US Sailing's Annual award.

More than just an introduction to sailing, ALtS provides a direct path to active participation in dinghy and keelboat racing.  The curriculum emphasizes small boat safety, seamanship, and sailing skills in addition to the teamwork required for successful cruising and competitive sailing.  Our instructors are highly experienced sailors, with decades of sailing and racing experience.
